What Does Interview Coaching Cover?
Some people are naturally comfortable in interview situations but many of us are not. The best way to gain confidence and maximise your chances of success is to be as fully prepared as possible and, crucially, to practise your interview skills with someone neutral who can give you constructive feedback and guidance.
Mercury Coaching’s interview package comprises three hours of one-to-one consulting time and will cover the following:

Interview preparation. How do you gather and use the right information ahead of a crucial interview?

Interview technique. This will focus on how to answer competency-based interview questions, how to answer particularly difficult questions and what to ask the interviewer at the end of the meeting.

A mock interview. I will interview you for 40 minutes and then give you feedback for 20 minutes.

I generally recommend a package of at least five hours of coaching to ensure we can cover enough ground to make a real difference to your success. I suggest one session per week in order to leave enough time between sessions for reflection.

Coaching is all tailored to your personal requirements and is generally delivered via Zoom, although face to face meetings are also available in Central London.
